OK,
so I'm a day late.
But it's Thanksgiving in Canada,
and I spent the weekend eating,
and hanging out with the extended family.
I was feeling pretty dejected about my ROW80 week,
I only got one chapter done last week.
But today I hunkered down and got four (yes, four!) chapters edited.
I also got my reading for my class done,
and my blog posts in.
So all in all it was a good week.
It proved to me that I can edit lots of chapters if I put my mind to it.
So I'm full of turkey and ham,
and feeling very happy.
I hope that all the rest of my ROW80 comrades are doing well.:)
This week I'm upping my editing goals to five chapters.
I'm feeling brave. :D
Gobble gobble. :)
Great job achieving your goals! And Happy Canadian Thanksgiving. Now I'm hungry for turkey. ;)
ReplyDeleteJust checked the clock. I guess Thanksgiving is officially over, but I'm glad you had a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWay to go with the editing. Upping your goal...super.
I homeschooled our three back in the day. (My "baby's" 21.)
I wish you well this coming week.
Love the background of your blog, by the way. Fall is my favourite season.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving....and thanks for your comment on my blog!Am impressed that you can edit so many chapters in a day.
ReplyDeleteWell done! Keep up the good work! I also did some editing this morning - not 4 chapters, but still success for me!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Thanksgiving! I celebrated, too :)
Man you have an Awesome Husband, He actually sent you to your room for the afternoon and Evening and took care of all 4 of your kids on his day off so you could get some writing done. I bet you are thinking of all kinds of wonderful ways to say thankyou to him. I bet he's on pins and Needles waiting for his much deserved reward. I bet you really hated reading that runon sentence up there.
ReplyDeletelol
Hi, Karen, thanks for commenting on my story (Imago).
ReplyDeleteIt's Thanksgiving in Canada, how interesting!
ReplyDeleteA nice turkey and ham dinner sounds pretty good. I'll have to wait another month for our Thanksgiving. That doesn't mean I can't have a dinner before then does it.

Man, if I had that kind of dinner on offer I'd be distracted by food and leftovers for weeks. Congratulations on getting so much editing done, and good luck with the five chapters this week!
